it's currently churning, posting the recipe before i forget what i eyeballed! i tried the ice cream calculator thing, and as much as i normally love data and science, it was not for me.

2 red dragonfruits
1 1/2 cups heavy cream
1 cup milk
3/4 cup sugar
1 tbsp vanilla bean paste (eyeballed, optional)
1-2 tbsp honey (eyeballed, optional)

  1. scoop the flesh of the dragonfruit out into a pot and use a handheld food processor on it until it's homogeneous (except for the seeds), then mix in 1/4 cup of sugar
  2. cook that shit down!!! until you have about 2 cups. put it in the fridge until you feel like making the rest of it
  3. make your base with the heavy cream, milk, and the rest of the sugar
  4. add the dragonfruit goo (im so sorry i do think that is the best way to describe it), mix well, taste. it will taste better with vanilla and honey. you can put that into your calculator if you want or you can be a free spirit and just slam it in
  5. churn it baby!!!!!!!
