Couldn’t find mention of this anywhere or if it was a misprint, but were they purchased by Amazon? I had suspicions because I saw them bring out a box labeled Mary’s(same brand you’ll find at Whole Foods), but if they use the same supplier kind of defeats the purpose…

Maybe they were bought by Mary’s or sells their stock to Mary’s. It’s kinda like how straus creamery is a bunch of different farms

So do they not allow turkeys to eat bugs or are bugs considered vegetarian?

Everything is just a trademarked brand at this point. It’s just a heritage (darker meat) turkey, they sell these all over. For willie bird specifically Williams Sonoma also sells them.

There are hundreds (maybe more, who knows) of farms who grow heritage birds in the US for food. This is simply a person who wants to make a “unique” turkey buy making a special name for it

Sounds like they are just making lots of distribution deals

I’m sure Mary’s also sells identical birds that aren’t under the trademark for less

I’m assuming they left the comma out. Amazon Fresh, Marcondas Puritan Poultry.
