Just thought I would share with you guys what I’ve been working on the past few months. Exploring this subreddit and seeing other people’s stations, experiences, and advice has been so much fun. I love to see how creative people get with their spaces and how different peoples taste is. Been really loving my Silvia and taking trips to local roasters to dial in a new coffee. Enjoy!

Looks nice! I built a similar little coffee nook, before my bambino arrived. After I used it I realized it’s much easier to have my espresso station on the countertop right next to my sink and trash can so im able to clean my portafilter without walking across the kitchen and dripping some coffee along the way.
How’s this working out for you? Maybe I’ll get a little knock box and some rags and go back to my coffee bar.

I love your set up.
I must ask though as someone newer to my espresso setup… how often does it look like this? I feel like my setup is chaos after a single use and it drives me up a wall. Grinds fly everywhere (although looking at a dosing funnel now to hopefully combat that!)

I found out the long way I prefer conical for espresso.
May I ask how the sk40 sounds and how long does it take to grind a double shot?
Sweet. I love the lighting. I wanted that for my setup as it’s similar, with the shelving anyway, (not the equipment, ha) but I wanted them to plug in. I assume your’s are rechargeable?
