  3. Just got a new instapot for Christmas and I'm not really sure how to cook a lot of things. So what temperature did you put? The corned beef on and for how long and what setting did you use to cook it? I would appreciate any help I could get. Thank you! Love watching your show. Happy that you're all better now🎉😂

One pro tip, if you don't want your corn beef to have that overwhelmingly salty but still retain that amazing flavor… Quarter up a whole onion and toss it in the instapot with the corn beef, you'll just toss the onion in the garbage after cooking the corn beef. When my wife suggested doing this the first time I looked at her with the "whatchoo talken about wasting a whole good onion?" but she was a prof cook before she went into medicine. And I support her and said let's give it a go. Needless to say the onion absorbed the excess sodium but the corn beef still retained it's rich complex flavor and tasted so much better IMO. We cook it the same way now every time in the instant pot, so delicious. Give it a go, you won't be disappointed, hope this helps someone. Cheers!
