  1. I like the Maryland recipe too but yours probably works fine. Thanks for all the content & happy new year! ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. I appreciate you for this. I may the period tacos for Christmas and even though some of the things were different from the video to the recipe it turned out really good! Please keep up the good work and all your recipes and videos! You are truly appreciated. I can't tell you how many of your videos I have saved in my culinary playlist

  3. @Mrmakeithappen i got your skillet and knife bundle! Leveling up on my cooking skills. all the way from chicago my boy im a big fan

  4. I was raised near the Chesapeake bay. My Nana and my mom made THE best crab cakes: few ingredients and just light filler of crushed oyster crackers then baked. Beyond restaurant quality. In the pnw of course I use Dungeness crab. People rave about them. No red bell peppers, no breading, not fried, not blended until texture looks like tuna. Simply and lumpy but held gently together. This recipe looks good too.

  5. ๐Ÿ™‹๐Ÿฝโ€โ™€๏ธ seafood lover here! This oneโ€™s for me ๐Ÿ˜‹

  6. Those look fantastic Matt! Crab cakes just tear my nerves up when i see them on the menu. I can never turn them down. I'm in DC fairly often for work conferences so I'm dying to try Fraiche. ๐Ÿฆ€

  7. can you taste the mayo in crab cakes? i want to try some but i HATE mayo. i wonโ€™t eat potato salad or deviled eggs

  8. I'm from Maryland and honestly, this ain't far off from the recipe I use that's been handed down for a few generations in my family. Truthfully, the only transgression I simply can't abide by in most crabcake recipes outside of the Chesapeake area is the inclusion of bell pepper or aromatics. Mayo, lemon juice, Worcestershire, binder (typically saltines or oyster crackers) and J.O. or Old Bay seasoning are standard ingredients. I too like a dash of hot sauce and some fresh parsley for color in mine. Nice looking cakes in this recipe. Well done!๐Ÿ‘โค๐Ÿฆ€

  9. I can't eat mayonnaise; it gives me violent stomach aches. Could I use sour cream? Yes, I can eat that I eat eggs as well
