Polar sardines; I didn’t know they come with only a plastic top on the can. It was leaking a little but still sealed. I liked them, but the package wasn’t desirable. I wouldn’t get them again.

if it was leaking then it wasn’t sealed…

I think you got a bad tin. These are my daily driver (always have at least 10 tins in the cupboard) and I have never had one leaking.

Lol this one shocked me too. I thought it was just a painted on top but then when I went to eat the can I was like “oh damn I can see my dines”.

    They were delicious though

That peel back tab is smooth as left out two days butter, and does not splash all up in my work truck on my lunch break, like the tins do. And it’s see through, making it sexzy. Smokey

  5. They are so good for the money. Try buying a non leaky tin, what are we doing here? Either it was leaking when you bought it or you made it leak.

Never consume canned food from leaking containers. Ever.

If it was leaking, it wasn’t sealed.

I’ve had a bad experience with this type of packaging, ruining a backpack and most of its contents. Never again.

Uhh try it again but not broken. As long as you enjoy smokey flavor, these are some of the best.

  9. Love these. Haven’t seen a leaky one before, unlucky.

Either leaking or sealed. Not both. If leaking do not consume.

If the inside is on the outside, don’t eat it

    (food wise, anyways)

Is that tin open??? Those do not look right. If the seal was leaking, it’s compromised.

Im not sure if you know how food being sealed works. If any amount of oil made it out, then bacteria is able to get in. Leaking means its not sealed.

If you did something that caused it to lose its seal, then treat it like any other can that you opened. Eat right away or refrigerate it and eat within a few days.

If you dont know when it started leaking, throw it away.

I like these a lot and they do come in different packaging on Amazon. Just look up polar smoked brisling sardines in olive oil and they’re in a tin with green coloring on it.

I am not a fish eater and I used my air fryer and made them crispy. They were really good.

I hope you have a comfortable toilet seat.

I love these. I usually toss a can over my salad and no other dressing needed. 10/10 budget dine.

My favourite sardines are smoked and packaged like this. (Sole Mare and Brunswick.) The packaging is fine if it stays sealed. I’ve never seen a leaky one, but if I did I’d throw it straight out. It’s not worth taking that risk for a tin of sardines.

I didn’t have any luck with these sardines. They made my urine smell like liquid smoke.

There really is a sub for everything. How did I end up here?

  21. If the lid was leaking, it wasn’t sealed.

I hope you aren’t leaking after eating them.

Oh boy, I really hope you won’t get sick. Keep us posted!

Worst brand ever imo. They look like old cigars.
