First year growing tomatoes. Planted last March and harvested once… now it decided to come back in the middle of winter


Not sure if this is normal for tomatoes. Thought the plant was done for since it didn’t grow much through the season or produce fruit

    I wait till those ripen, pick them and after that add soil up to the brim. I bet it’ll take right off

    edit: Obviously dont bury it with soil, but it should have enough of a root ball to repot temporarily and add fresh soil/compost from the bottom up
