American, first time I saw “rocket” on a menu(all over a pizza menu in Liverpool, 2010) I was *deeply* confused, having only ever heard it called arugula. It was another ~5 years before I first heard ruchetta(Italian).
Whenever I think about it now though, I just think of Steve Martin in My Blue Heaven.
