Back home (Memphis) for a few days. What $35 gets you
3 meat combo at Germantown Commissary. Seemed to be about 1lb of pulled 4 slices of brisket and 6 ribs. Not sure if he hooked it up because we said we were splitting it but it was a feast for under $40 with some tea.

The quantity is nice, but if it’s anything like my Memphis BBQ experiences it’s a mid 3/5 with regard to quality. That might even be too generous.

Which commissary location is it? In my experience they are vastly different. The OG is still outstanding, but I’ve had two bad experiences at the new Collierville one.

Hell yeah, I live in the Memphis metro, Commissary is great. But their brisket sucks, like everywhere else in Memphis.

Thats a good plate! I would probably add another side, depending on who I’m splitting it with. I always make the mistake of going to a barbecue place when I am the most hungry.
