This is 5oz salmon cooked in olive oil, garlic, freshly squeezed lemon juice, pepper, apple cider vinegar, and later drizzled in Matiz Flor De Garum.
The zucchini is cooked in olive oil, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning with feta on it. The grapes are grapes.

Looks so good!
How your raised really makes a big difference. Growing up we always had at least a vegetable or a salad with dinner. As an adult I simply cannot have a meal without something green. I have friends who think it’s crazy, lol.
“The grapes are grapes” 🤣
I had something similar for lunch today! I had salmon with a side of roasted green beans and baby potatoes and chopped grape tomatoes with half an avocado with a squeeze of lime and salt and pepper. It was so good. I might have it again for lunch tomorrow!
Now thats bigtime
Looks great!
Tell us more about your great grandma. Im always fascinated by longevity
Funnily my upbringing didn’t really influence my diet as an adult. Looking back, we ate relatively healthy, not a lot of red meat, always a veggie on my plate, always home cooked, nothing frozen, etc.
Once I went off to college and had to cook for myself, I started eating like shit. Lots of burgers, quesadillas, frozen mozz sticks, 0 veggies. After college when I had money I cooked a lot fancier meals, but it was still a lot of red meat, sodium, saturated fat, and only a little bit of veggies.
Then one doctors visit, and here I am :-). It’s a really easy diet to follow, without any sacrifice of flavor. Highly recommend.
Anyways, your meal looks great. Salmon is the GOAT, and zucchini is something I started liking as an adult despite being repulsed by it as a kid. Wish I had started on this “diet” as early as you did!
Fun fact: the original paper recommending the “Mediterranean diet” was retracted.
But the corrected version still found that it’s a healthy diet.
This looks great! Please post more meals from your great grandma. I’m curious about what her breakfasts look like as well.
I had to learn this diet as an adult, or at least learn to eat some fruits or veggies in a meal.
Honestly good on your family for teaching healthy eating habits!
