In Korea, we eat tteokguk on the first day of the New Year.
Looking back, the past year feels a bit disappointing, as it was filled with things I’m not proud of.
In this New Year, I sincerely hope to be completely renewed and transformed.

Mom and Aunt made an unholy amount of Mandu for New Years. I think I’ll still be eating it with tteokguk for the next upcoming weeks!

Beef bone broth tteokguk is the real deal!

No, but our Korean grocery is sold out of soup bones and spring onions. So I think everyone else had it. Happy New Year!
