Had a horrible experience at Lou Malnati’s in Chicago this week.

It‘s my first time visiting Chicago and everything was great (even the cold). I wanted to try deep dish and was told that I can’t go wrong with the classics like Lou’s But this pizza 99% dough (most of it was mushy yet dry somehow) and i couldn’t even taste the sauce/cheese. I showed a friend this picture and she said this is definitely cook error so I wanted to get this sub‘s thoughts. The other pizza we got was definitely better but still came with cold + curdled cheese which was unappetizing.
