hi everyone, my lello musso is making a knocking sound with every rotation. This is the second machine we’ve purchased and the previous machine was doing the same thing and ultimately stopped working so i’m trying to prevent that. has anyone had this issue and successfully solved it or should we look into a different machine?

I’m assuming you poured the mix in while the dasher was spinning? If instead you pre-chill the bowl and then pour the mix in with a stationary dasher, it can sometimes freeze a bit too solid and thick against the bowl so that the dasher deflects against the frozen bump each time it passes rather than scrape the frozen mix from the bowl. That can result in a sort of knocking sound. It’s hard to tell from the video whether that could be the cause of the sound, or if it’s something in the internal mechanics. In any case, that’s the only knocking sort of sound I’ve ever heard from my 4080.
