Happy New Year! Maria is yet another gem. She has been making the family’s pasta by hand for ninety years! To think she carried water on her head before plumbing. These ladies are tough as nails. Olive oil and that cheese is more than dressed enough. Thank you for another great episode and God Bless, Maria!

I'm a 77 yo guy and I'll tell you I'm feeling my age. I have my mother's pasta board and mattarello and I make pasta now and then. It's hard work. This woman puts me to shame and that pasta looks delicious…I get why she likes it simple, though I might have done it with aglio e olio. I wish her well.
P.S. More Pasta Guys. I'm sure there are more out there.

That generation of women were amazing, they worked so hard inside & outside the house & did everything. They endured very very tough, hard times but never complained! Same as my own mother 90 yrs who reared us big family in difficult times but she came from even worse times before us in poor Ireland. God Bless all those beautiful ladies.🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
