Is it too soon for chocolate habaneros to sprout already?
It’s −3 °C outside and this is my second year trying to overwinter them. Last year they started sprouting in early February. The leaves are really bright since there’s obviously not enough light. Is it too soon?

That’s normal, peppers want to grow. Dormancy is not natural to them. Give them some light. Trim if they get too big

They need leaves to survive, they don’t have dormancy
