HIGHLANDS — The Rev. Joseph Donnelly Council No. 11660 Knights of Columbus and the Vincent T. Lombardi Columbiettes Auxiliary No. 6552 invite the public to attend their Annual Italian Knight Dinner & Charity Gift Auction on Saturday, Jan. 31, at the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Gym, located at 121 Miller Street in Highlands. Parking entrance is located on Highland Avenue.
Doors will open at 5 p.m. for the 6 to 9 p.m. event.
K of C Chancellor Steve Bagnetto & Columbiettes Past President Louise Welch are, once again. teaming up to chair their portions of the joint event on behalf of their respective organizations.
“Our Italian Knight Dinner is family friendly and budget friendly.” Bagnetto said. “Last year we sold out at more than 180 attendees. Dinner, dessert and beverages plus a K of C prize ticket is only $25.”
“My sister Columbiettes work all year long to provide desirable prizes at every level of our Gift Auction, making this the best value family night out in our area,” echoed Welch. “Where else can you enjoy a complete home-cooked meal including a sheet of tickets to win prizes worth as much or more than the $30 package price?”

The dinner menu, which is planned for and prepared on site by the Knights Council features:
• Fresh Baked Cheesy Garlic Bread and Creamy Caesar Salad, served family-style.
• Spaghetti, Meatballs & Sausage plus Eggplant Rollatini which are served buffet style in Chancellor Bagnetto’s homemade gravy.
• Assorted Mini Amaretto (soft) & Cantucci (crisp) Biscotti are provided at each dinner table.
• The dessert table consists of Mini Cannoli, Tiramisu and sliced Italian Panettone Cake.
• Bottled water, cola, diet cola, root beer, ginger ale, Italian roast coffee, classic roast decaf coffee plus assorted teas and instant hot cocoa are also included and patrons are welcome to bring their own adult beverages.
Dinner proceeds benefit the Rev. Joseph J. Donnelly K of C General Fund, which underwrites associated costs for their “Free Second Sunday Hot & Cold Breakfast Buffet,” Parish & Community Awareness, Fundraising events, membership recruiting and more.

The Columbiettes Gift Auction offers three levels of prizes:
• Small gifts with tickets available for purchase at $5 per sheet.
• Medium gifts with tickets available for purchase at $10 per sheet.
• Large gifts with tickets available at $15 for one ticket or $25 for two tickets.
• A value pack containing two small and one medium sheet of tickets plus one large ticket is offered at $30, a $5 savings.
Gift Auction proceeds benefit the Vincent T. Lombardi Columbiettes Charity Fund from which makes local donations to Sick, Elderly & Handicapped individuals, Needy Families, Unwed Mothers, Catholic Education Scholarships and more.
Gift auction participation requires paid admission to either of the “Dinner Only” or “Dinner & Tickets” packages.
The $25 “Dinner Only” package includes all dinner, dessert and beverage items plus one K of C prize ticket, while the $30 “Dinner & Tickets” package adds one “Medium Prize” ticket sheet — a $10 value — to the aforementioned.
Additional discounts include $15 “Dinner Only” admission tickets for ages 12 and under plus free admission for Infants.
