That’s not as stupid as I first thought. You can grip the half-burger and dredge it in cheese for every bite like a giant nacho. A lot better than those burgers where they dump melted cheese over the entire thing and you have to eat it with a knife and fork. I’d actually try this.

This is much less stupid than the many many burgers I’ve seen where they dump three cups of melted cheese over a burger making it impossible to eat without cutlery. I’d eat this just to make those fries into cheese fries.

I’ve seen this done in Japan. When they cut it in half they sear the cut parts so you get even more crispy parts and the cheese soaks into it. Looks nice to me
