SZA is stepping up to bring Italian meals to those struggling due to the nation’s SNAP drama.

On Tuesday, the “Kill Bill” singer kicked off a partnership with chain restaurant Jon & Vinny’s to offer 1,400 free meals to residents who aren’t receiving their SNAP benefits.

“Yall know how much I love Jon and Vinny’s,” she wrote on Instagram. “But it ain’t no fun if the Homies can’t have none!!”

The company itself confirmed this effort, explaining that it was the “CTRL” star who brought the idea to them.

“Over the next 7 days we are partnering with her NOT Charity to provide 1400 free meals (100 dinners for 2 per day) for Los Angeles community members who receive SNAP. Each meal will be available as takeout from our Slauson location from 3pm‑5pm on 11/11‑11/17,” a statement read.

Los Angeles‑based SNAP recipient can arrange to pick up their meals by emailing notcharity@jonandvinnys.com.  Jon & Vinny’s is allowing four meals per family.

SZA is just the latest celebrity to step to the plate during the devastating government shutdown. Tyler Perry also donated almost $1.4 million to several organizations to help families impacted by halts to the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP).
