January may be known for grey skies, tight budgets and ambitious resolutions, but Côte Brasserie is offering diners a reason to feel cheerful this winter. The French restaurant group has launched The Happiest Menu, its most generous January offer to date, bringing high-quality French dining to the table at significantly reduced prices.
Available weekdays only from 5–31 January, The Happiest Menu allows guests to enjoy two courses for £15 or three courses for £19, representing a notable saving compared to Côte’s standard set-menu prices of £23.50 and £27.50 respectively.
The offer is available exclusively via the Côte app and must be redeemed in-brasserie, encouraging guests to enjoy the experience in one of Côte’s welcoming restaurant spaces across the UK.
A Familiar Menu With Happier Prices
While the name may be new, The Happiest Menu is built around something long-time diners will recognise. Every dish featured comes from Côte’s much-loved Set Menu, which has been a cornerstone of the brand since its launch in 2007.
Previously known as the prix fixe, pre-theatre, or prestige menu, the Set Menu was created to make French dining accessible, consistent and enjoyable. Nearly two decades on, that philosophy remains unchanged – only the price has shifted to reflect January’s desire for value and comfort.
Côte describes The Happiest Menu with a simple promise: the same quality, the same recipes, the same craftsmanship – just happier prices.
Classic French Dishes That Stand the Test of Time
Much of the appeal lies in the menu’s sense of familiarity and nostalgia. Many dishes have remained unchanged since day one, overseen by Steve Allen, former executive chef at Gordon Ramsay Restaurants, who now leads Côte’s culinary direction.
Highlights include the iconic French Onion Soup, made to the same original 2007 recipe, featuring slow-cooked caramelised onions and finished with a Comté sourdough rarebit.
Another standout is the ever-popular Steak Frites, prepared using beef from Côte’s own in-house butchery, served with garlic butter and unlimited frites – a dish that has become synonymous with the brand.
Cheese lovers can also enjoy Fromage from France, with selections still sourced directly from French markets and respected fromageries, underlining Côte’s ongoing commitment to authenticity and provenance.
Options for Every January Mood
While comfort classics take centre stage, The Happiest Menu also includes lighter dishes, vegetarian options and vegan-friendly choices, making it suitable for a wide range of dietary preferences and post-holiday intentions.
At a time when January is often dominated by restriction and reset culture, Côte is instead focusing on generosity, shared enjoyment and connection, positioning dining out as a small but meaningful pleasure during the winter months.
Whether it’s a relaxed weekday lunch, an early evening supper or a spontaneous midweek treat, The Happiest Menu is designed to make eating out feel accessible again.
How to Redeem Côte’s January Offer
To take advantage of the offer, diners must book a table, download the Côte app, and redeem the deal in-brasserie. Full menu details and terms can be found on Côte’s website.
