Posted yesterday asking about stand options for Large BGE on countertop. I think I’ll end up just putting it on the ceramic feet that came with it. Mostly because that’s been fine in my current table – no wobble. But also since new eggs no longer come with feet, it’s a subtle mark of an original egghead.

Now my question is about covers. I’ve struggled to find a cover for an egg with no rolling stand, side shelves, or table. Would appreciate any tips. I’m looking to cover a large egg in the setup shown. Ideally tan to match my other covers but at this point will take anything.

I built a nest for my large BGE and sent measurements (with a few inches added each direction) to coverstore. I am extremely pleased with the turnout. My egg sits on my back patio year round (TX) in sun / rain etc. but this cover has kept my table and egg in great shape

I use the Big Green Egg Cover F. It goes down quite a bit below the opening and has elastic binding that keeps the bottom tight to the BGE. I tried other non-BGE covers and the bottom did not fit tight to the BGE. I would pull the cover off to use it and I would find a couple Cuban Tree Frogs sleeping on my egg. When I swiped them off, they would use their defense of pissing which I would need to clean up. I was lucky and found it when Rural King was getting rid of their BGE inventory and it was 70% off.
