Recipe ( 4 servings)

  • 500g camel ground meat
  • 720g precut fries
  • 95g low fat mozzarella
  • 120g cottage cheese
  • 30g ketchup
  • onions and some secondary bullshit youll see below

Instructions:

  • Use a sheetpan to bake the fries in the oven on 200c for 20 minutes

  • while its baking, carmalise an onion in a small pan and set aside

  • cook the ground camel meat, season it generously, add some water to it, like 40ml

  • after its done, pour the “meat purge” or water, whatever it called into a blender with the cottage cheese, ketchup, half a packet of stevia, blend and add camel milk until you reach the desired consistency

  • Assemble the carmalised onions, ground meat and the mozzarella over the baked potatoes in the sheet pan, let it cook until the cheese is melted. Then pour the sauce, divide into 4 equal servings and BOOM

    I bet camel’s fuggen good.
    I’ve never had it, but I’ve had a few friends that have eaten horse and said it’s phenomenal. Kinda in the same vein.

    I used to live right next to a burger joint that always had exotic meats. Boar, camel, elk, gator, even lion sometimes. Miss it dearly

  5. yaaaa camel meat aint great tasting tbh. Poor man’s meat. but I suppose locals figured ways to make it better.
