These are two of my plants I am overwintering and are the only ones that look like this. Pretty sure they are the same variety so maybe that’s it, but is there something else that might cause this with the leaves?

Sometimes young leaves come out in odd shapes in certain varieties of peppers. I wouldn’t worry too much about it, but the new growth does look a little lanky which could mean the plant isn’t getting enough light.

Too warm, too much light, and too much water

I put that on the plant’s personality

Water issue. Inconsistent watering. Either over or under-watering…or swings between both.
You never water on a schedule…you water when needed. Your soil should be the consistency of used coffee grounds. If you squeeze a handful of soil…it should not drip water. It should barely hold together. If you’re squeezing out water…you’re over-watering. If the soil just falls apart and crumbles through your fingers…you’re under-watering.
Inconsistent watering causes nutrient deficiencies and can make them more susceptible to pests and diseases. Your leaves should be flat, smooth and pliable. Wavy, misshapen, curling leaves are the first sign of inconsistent watering.

I’ll attach a video that many find helpful.
