Looks like you were hungry 🤣. Like the combo never thought about peas and ham combo soup with the right herbs it’ll come out amazing 👏

Are you aware that the soup doesn’t have to be at the absolute brim of the pot?

Hey I think you added a wee too much everything lmao

I have had split pea soup puff up on me crazily so I empathize. One time it basically came out with the consistency of mashed potatoes. Tricky work, drunk.

    How is it?

I have to feed 5 people on a budget, I cant afford a good Dutch oven that big.

  6. Are you cooking for an army? The clean up thoughts give me sweaty palms

I fuck with it. Can you make me a grilled cheese while you’re at it? Add some bacon and fire roasted tomatoes. Thanks!

Well, mistakes were made. That being said, how’d it taste? Looks decent honestly! Please tell me you had biscuits or bread of some sort to go with it

Double, double toil and trouble; Fire burn and cauldron bubble.

Genuinely impressed there isn’t more mess with how close it is to the top. But that’s a LOT of soup for 5 people

I’d fuck that up with some buttered sourdough to dip. 7/10 great results poor execution.

I made a cursed Salisbury steak concoction for dinner tonight.

I made the gravy as usual, and put it in the instant pot with the onions and mushrooms and let that saute while I browned two pounds of ground beef. After it was browned, it too went into the instant pot. It’s been slow cooking for the last two hours while I have russet potatoes slow roasting in the oven. They were drizzled with olive oil and sprinkled with garlic, salt, and pepper. Side salad included.

Dinner is in ten minutes. Hopefully no one complains. Taking massive dabs then cooking can have interesting results.
