One of my favorite All Time comfort meals that I pull out of the recipe vault. I have cooked it on the east coast and ate it at a food place in California (couldn’t believe that they actually had it on the menu) and then made it again on the east coast lol i enjoy my homemade version. Yours looks amazing with the onion and yes the egg like someone else mentioned. Oh and I start with the rice then the burger, egg and gravy on top. So goood!

I grew up eating loco moco. Been craving it lately but not been wanting to buy hamburger. Feel like it wouldnt be the same without beef, even tho I substitute turkey in most ground beef recipes.
