Little remix of leftovers! I crisped up the mackerel fillet in a pan in a little of the can oil and topped with ginger and garlic powder for a couple minutes on each side – delish! Served over leftover miso mushroom rice and sautéed cabbage and carrots. Also added some quick cucumber/onion salad on top for a vinegary kick.

  3. Sounds yum, but if you don’t mind my asking, did you find frying the canned mackeral made your kitchen smell? I’m worried if I try this idea it’ll leave the kitchen smelling fishy (even with exhaust fan) and my family members will complain
