“Substantial” damage from a broken water pipe has forced the temporary closure of a roughly decade-old Italian restaurant near Bethlehem.

Fiamma Italian Grill announced the closure of its restaurant at 2118 Schoenersville Road in Hanover Township, Northampton County, on Tuesday.

“Upon returning from our Christmas break we discovered a broken water pipe that has caused some substantial damage to the restaurant leaving us devastated,” the restaurant said online. “In return we are being forced to temporarily close until we can put everything back together. As always our mission will be to take the best course of action to handle all these issues as fast as possible while taking the safest and best course of action to return to serving our amazing customers as soon as possible!”

The restaurant, which opened in 2016, was closed for nearly a year due to damages from a fire in early 2022.
