Tried SHO Omakase for the first time in Old Town. We didn’t know what to expect and we were blown away. I will say they had limited sushi items but it wasn’t trying to be that if that makes any sense? The last photo is the full menu.
The only thing that didn’t blow us away was the dessert (as you can see I forgot to even take a photo of it). Matcha is never to my taste and this was no different. It was the best matcha dessert I’ve had but I still didn’t enjoy it . There was a chocolate truffle that was top tier but only one along with a jellied square and a vanilla macaron which wasn’t bad. Then an alcohol filled grape and pineapple that was good but again nothing mind blowing.
Final bill for two people including a glass of wine and a bottle of sake (split between 2 couples) came out to ~$550 (inclusive of mandatory 20% gratuity and 3% wellness )
Service was great. I did get a mixed cocktail which was bizarre but fine ($20, but they ended up leaving it off the bill and comping it as a gift)
