Good spicy chip recommendations?


I absolutely fell in love with blaze doritos when they came out, and was heartbroken when they were discontinued ☹️ then I found the fiery chile limon Paqui chips, and they filled the void! Now I found out they’ve also been discontinued.

Does anyone have any recommendations as to what would be similar to either of those? Or just a good spicy chip in general. My favorite part was how flavorful they were along with the heat.

    Depending on where you are, you might be able to fins Utz’s Red Hot or Herr’s Carolina Reaper. If you’re looking for something with flavor and a touch of heat, Zapp’s Jalapeno and Trader Joe’s Ghost waffle chips are delicious.

    I enjoy Doritos Flaming Hots from time to time. It’s not going to cause burn, but it’s just got a bit more kick than the average snack.

    Generally speaking, not as a replacement for these chips. I love Ruffles Lime & Jalapeño. They’re honestly not all that spicy if you’re seeking something with a ton of heat. But holy crap, the flavor is great. They capture some element of the flavor of Jalapeño that I’ve not gotten from any other chip. I think they have an earthy roasted jalapeño skin taste. I’m addicted to them.

    I miss paqui so much.

    Mama Zuma are ok. Takis puts their fuego flavor on chips too. I dont love takis, but a lot of people do.

    I keep a box of these Hot Ones Habanero snack packs in my desk at work and they are the best hot snack I’ve tried. I saw them on Amazon as a suggested product I might like (it worked, I liked them.)

    Flamas Doritos are close to blaze Doritos but the blaze are definitely a lot better and i hate that these companies always discontinue the best flavors smh

    I don’t think anything will ever beat the paqui ghost pepper chips for a perfect quick heat fix. RIP.
