At first I slightly balked at the price of the prix fixe Moroccan breakfast ($39), but it was actually well worth it and very solid value. The food was plentiful and delicious, and I love that both a coffee and a freshly squeezed orange juice were included.
The eggs were cooked and seasoned perfectly, the potatoes were garlicky and a great texture, and the three different moroccan breads came with honey, excellent dried black olives, and a jam that I think was orange with a bit of rose water.
I also got a side of merguez sausage which was two substantial links for $5. It was delicious too.
Overall it was the salty and sweet brunch of my dreams, and I found the price to be more than fair for both the quality and quantity of what you get.
My friend got the prix fixe French breakfast and her eggs were very tasty as well. Instead of the Moroccan breads, you get to choose a croissant or chocolatine. Also comes with any coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice.
Loved this place, will be back for dinner!
EDIT: I feel like everything is $15-20 these days, even just going for a coffee and pastry somewhere nice. I also love going to a diner for a cheap and delicious breakfast, which is harder and harder to find these days, but that’s not what this is.
So to get several different breakfast items, plus a large iced latte, plus a fresh juice, would realistically add up to the price they charged. It’s not a deal by any means, but because the quality was good and I was very full, I feel like it was worth it. Food and labour cost is crazy for restaurants these days and I think if you went to any nice brunch place and ordered a main, a substantial side, a specialty coffee, and a juice, it would easily add up to $40. So no, it’s not cheap, but the quality was great and I’ve definitely paid around the same for less interesting, lower quality food.
