Wanted to make a low fat/low sodium dinner for my mother while recovering from a heart attack so I combined a bunch of recipes for tonkatsu-like broth and I think it turned out pretty well. Always open to more suggestions if people have them.

[Tonkatsu ](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tonkatsu)(*ton* meaning pork and *katsu* for “cutlet”) =fried bread pork cutlet
[Tonkotsu](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tonkotsu_ramen) (*ton* meaning pork and *kotsu* meaning bone)= pork bone broth
Looks good. Would definitely try
Invest in a proper ramen bowl and it will already look 10 times better
That sounds cool, what did you use for the broth?
But where’s the tonkatsu at? I see no breaded pork cutlet
Cool but it’s Tonkotsu. Tonkatsu is deep fried pork cutlet.
