This looks super good, and not to take away from it, but does it bother anyone else that everything is being labelled as omakase these days? The word has lost all meaning. Like yeah, its pedantic and slightly obnovious/pretentious to insist that set menus be called kaiseki… but a restaurant calling a takeout box omakase, i feel, is a bit too far (unless it is a TRUE omakase i guess, i realize as Im writing this). Is it just me?
