CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) – A dedicated worker of the Greater Cleveland Food Bank retired Friday and has been honored for her years of service.

Jedene Westmoreland retired after 37 years of service to the Greater Cleveland Food Bank (GCFB), impacting nearly 20 in the kitchen.

She will be leaving an enormous impact on the Food Bank’s staff, volunteers and neighbors through her decades of work.

GCFB shared in a social media post that Westmoreland would always show up with a smile no matter the day.

GCFB said it could not be more grateful for her service.

In her honor, the GCFB named the kitchen staff ready room in her name, now titled the Jedene Westmoreland Staff Ready Room.
