A new batch of hamburger/sandwich buns has arrived. This time made with sourdough starter AND baker's yeast.

  • wheat all-purpose flour, 90%
  • whole wheat flour, 10%
  • full fat milk, 55%
  • sugar, 10%
  • sunflower oil, 14%
  • sourdough starter, 10%
  • baker's yeast, 0.1%
  • salt, 2%
  • eggs, 8%
  • sesame seeds for sprinkling (optional)

Brushed them with melted butter and honey after baking.

The next day we sliced one open and filled it with cold cuts, gouda, sliced pickles and some mayonnaise.

Soft, fluffy and delicious.

    You slice your pickles a little thick for me, but the sandwich looks delicious too.
