🥢 Beef Chow Mein Recipe

    **Ingredients**

    * 450g beef (sirloin / flank / ribeye), thinly sliced against the grain
    * 225g chow mein or egg noodles
    * 2 tbsp vegetable oil (or sesame oil)
    * 1 onion, sliced
    * 2 cloves garlic, minced
    * 1 tbsp ginger, minced
    * 1 cup bell peppers, sliced
    * 1 cup snow peas / snap peas
    * 2 carrots, julienned
    * 2–3 tbsp soy sauce
    * 1 tbsp oyster sauce
    * 1 tbsp hoisin sauce
    * 1 tsp sesame oil (optional)
    * ½ cup beef broth or water
    * 1 tsp sugar (optional)
    * Green onions & sesame seeds (garnish)

    **Instructions**

    1. **Cook noodles** per packet. Drain and set aside.
    2. **Stir-fry beef** in 1 tbsp oil over high heat (2–3 min). Remove.
    3. **Veggies:** Add remaining oil. Stir-fry onion, garlic, ginger (1 min), then peppers, peas, carrots (3–4 min).
    4. **Sauce:** Add soy, oyster, hoisin, sesame oil, broth, sugar. Simmer 2–3 min.
    5. **Combine:** Return beef + noodles. Toss and stir-fry 2–3 min.
    6. **Serve hot**, topped with green onions and sesame seeds.
