I cooked 2 lbs ground turkey, added the seasonings i wanted, put in a bowl and set aside. With a bit of olive oil, I cooked onion and garlic and then added 1 chopped yellow zucchini, 1 chopped green zucchini, and chopped mixed bell peppers from frozen. Cooked the veggies to my desired doneness, added the turkey back in, and added my favorite marinara sauce.

Edit: changed ground beef to ground turkey.

Well that’s not technically spaghetti, but the food looks delicious! You can use some basil (depends on taste) on top to make it look more charming.

That’s not spaghetti. Looks more like macaroni or cavatappi perhaps?

I’m hoping to not get downvoted for asking this because I really am trying to learn.

What in this qualifies as part of the Mediterranean diet? I’m seeing regular pasta instead of whole grain or veg pasta, a bunch of meat, and a little bit of vegetables thrown in. This is something I ate all the time before my doctor told me to try a different diet.

Looks good! I definitely say “spaghetti” for all my pastas and red sauce as well ☺️

I do this but I make the meat half turkey and half lentils. So. Good.

I always sub ground turkey for beef whenever possible- looks good!

I do similar, and add chopped celery, too.

Instead of wheat pasta, have you tried using spaghetti squash? It’s not the same, but it’s still a decent vehicle for tasty sauce.
