Prime rib roast on my new pellet smoker.

A little inconsistent around the edges.

Smoker flavor is adequate, but not as strong as a traditional smoker.

Im pretty happy with the first smoke. Its not as enjoyable as maintaining the fire on an offset while drinking a beer, but it is a fun toy I will enjoy using.

Hey! It looks like you posted an image!

If this is a photo of one of your cooks, maybe share the recipe and techniques
used, as it’s almost guaranteed one of the first questions you will be asked!

    *What seasoning did you use?

*How long did you cook it, and at what temperature?

*Did you use any special tricks or techniques?

    Traeger on!

Beautiful. Enjoy. I cook with it as much as I can. One of my favourite purchases ever. The food that comes off it is always incredible, and everyone loves it.

Good to see someone else appreciates Wusthof! I had an addiction for a year plus and hopefully I have every knife I ever need for the rest of my journey. If I don’t, it’s on me.

  4. Looks damn good for a first smoke. It’ll get better as you get used to using it. I follow Matt Pittman and Malcom Reed for video how-tos. Those guys will never steer you wrong.

If your pellet grill does not impart enough smoky flavor to your cook get a smoke tube… They are cheap enough and they really work!

  5. it’s great for smoking on a hot day, you don’t heat up the house, and you don’t have to tend a fire. I use mine when I’m feeling Lazy, anything big or special goes on the Kamado, but this is great for chicken thighs and lazy ribs. get a smoke tube, it helps a little.
