I’m germinating seeds in a group of pots and moving them to a tent as they sprout. One barely broke the soil so I left it another day and it got super leggy overnight while still under the dome. I want to make sure it doesn’t continue to do so after moving it into the tent.

I have a 150w light (mars hydro ts1000 specifically) and both the light and tent are still fairly new to me so I haven’t dialed it all in yet. It’s about 16” from the seedlings and at 25% brightness. Is that good for now to keep them from stretching more? Any adjustments that I should make?

In the future, is it better to increase the brightness or lower the light?

I would lower the light for sure, to 12in And crank it up to 50%

    Dang, it got leggy fast.

I rather turn brightness down and put light closer. You save money on electricity and make less heat.

Be careful not to put light closer than 1 foot even on low brightness. Those 150 watt LED are strong.

Maybe right now, put it 50% brightness about 2 feet above plants
