I have been cooking & baking since I was 4-5 years old and lasagna is nothing new to me, but the first time I followed a “real” Italian recipe with the béchamel, it was awful! Béchamel is nothing new. It was the first thing I learned to make, but the recipe stated that it had to be thick. I followed her directions for it & put the lasagna together. Served it for dinner and everyone hated it 😅 I learned that the béchamel consistency should be as I’ve been making it all along. I made another & my family LOVED IT! I make it with the béchamel every time now ❤
