Aji Limo and Lemon Drop ain’t the same!


I grow the Aji Limo since three season and really love it. I noticed that nearly everywhere is written that Lemon Drop and Aji Limo are the same variety. Which is wrong for sure. But now i found this article from Robert Sacilotto. He found out who's responsible for this "annoying echo in the world of hot peppers." 🙂

    I grew lemon drop last year and had lovely citrus flavour and aroma but fuck me, they were hot! They were almost the same as my Habaneros to be honest – and that’s why I’ve just planted new seeds for this year 🤣

    I’ve never heard of Aji Limo. I’ve frequently seen references to “Aji Limon,” however. Where does it fit in?
