Jersey Freeze ice cream plans to open a new location in Middlesex County this spring, the fourth store in the state for the popular soft serve business.

An opening date for the Jersey Freeze at 1447 Route 18 in Old Bridge hasn’t been announced.

Jersey Freeze is a longtime favorite stop for Bruce Springsteen. In 2022, Springsteen and Jon Bon Jovi showed up at Jersey Freeze in Freehold to enjoy a couple of cones.

The Jersey Freeze Instagram account shared a photo of the rockstars with owners Matt Cangialosi and Katie DiNonno.

The company currently operates locations in Freehold, Colts Neck and Holmdel.

Jersey Freeze sells ice cream cones, cakes and cupcakes as well as milkshakes and ice cream novelties, according to the company’s website.

Jersey Freeze was founded in 1952 and was sold to the current owners in 2014.
