This marks the reintroduction of the New Zealand winemaker to the UK market, which was previously distributed by Decorum Vinters.
Jules Taylor (pictured) is well-known for her vibrant and expressive (and award-winning) wines, which span classic Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc to rare single-vineyard varieties.
Her range comprises Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Gruner Veltliner, Rosé and Pinot Noir.
Commenting on the partnership, Simon Thorpe MW, MD of Thorman Hunt, said: “We are thrilled to welcome Jules and her wines to our portfolio. Jules is a Marlborough celebrity whose wines combine authenticity, personality and exceptional quality.
“Her Sauvignon Blanc is a benchmark for the region’s distinctive style, and we were very impressed by her entire range. This partnership allows us to bring these outstanding wines to a wider audience in the UK and to strengthen our offering of premium New Zealand wines.”
Taylor grew up in Marlborough, and after qualifying as a winemaker worked her first vintage in her home region in 1994. In 2001, she began to create wines under her own name, making 400 cases of Riesling and Pinot Gris in the first year.
Thorman Hunt will distribute the Jules Taylor Marlborough Classics, Taylor’s ‘On The Quiet’ series of limited-edition single vineyard releases and her husband George Elworthy’s ‘The Better Half Wines’, offering light-hearted and fruit-forward examples of Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir.
Jules Taylor, founder and winemaker at Jules Taylor Wines, added: “I’m so excited to be working with the Thorman Hunt team. They understand the importance of authenticity and relationships in the wine world, and they share our passion for quality.
“This partnership gives us the chance to share our wines with more people in the UK – and to tell the story behind them.”
The wines will debut with Thorman Hunt at the Australia/New Zealand Trade tasting in London on 27 January 2026.
Taylor will visit in person in June and will be pouring her wines alongside the Thorman Hunt team.
