I am heading a small coffee program at a restaurant and was handed a Simonelli coffee machine. The machine has been in storage for a while and has not been properly maintained. As I continue to do backflushes, brush and wipe around the inside of the grouphead, I continue getting these black streaks. Do I have to continue repeating this until I get results or is there something wrong with the interior of the grouphead? I have been behind a coffee machine now for two years and know how to properly close a machine and have never run into this issue until now. It’s very obvious why but I am wondering what my options are. Please and thank you for any help!
