I just got my first grinder and am super excited to test it out. Went with the new MiiCoffee GF64 which I haven’t seen many reviews on but I’m taking the risk. I see tips all the time how grind size but one question I have is on filling the hopper up. I see most people single dose but I know with this grinder I can do the hopper but is it worth it?

I guess OP has never been near a conservative convention.

Is this a new release? I have the lowly DF54 but I’m curious how this performs
$199, that’s a decent price point. Let me know how it does. P
Hell yeah! Have fun!
Congrats on your first grinder! Filling the hopper can save time, but single dosing often gives more consistency and freshness definitely fun to experiment and see what works best for you.

I don’t store beans in the hoppers of my grinders (Mazzer Mini for espresso, Baratza Encore for brewed). I’m a freshness freak, and they go stale when not protected from light & air. Anything darker roast than medium leaves an oily residue on the inside of the hopper, and dark espresso roasts clog the burrs (so I have to use Grindz and then “sacrifice” up to 1/2 lb of beans to get the Grindz dust out). I grind per shot (or per cup or pot) and store my beans in the bag inside a vacuum canister.
