Hi, please don’t judge me if this question seems dumb but bought this giant can of mushroom pieces and stems but I know I’ll never use them in one sitting so I was wondering, it safe to transfer the mushrooms (and liquid) into several smaller jars and re-can them? If so, which method should I use, water bath or pressure canning? If that’s not an option would it be a good idea to freeze them? Thanks.

From my understanding no, you cannot safely recan commercially canned items.
No. Please don’t do that.
I would think freezing would be a viable option
No and here’s a good answer on that from ask extension: https://ask.extension.org/kb/faq.php?id=714443
Re-cooking the mushrooms will extract all the rooms and leave only mush, I suspect.
Even if you can get the recipe right it will F up the texture hopelessly.
No
I would portion and freeze what you don’t use
