This is my first ever cloning attempt which might be obvious. I have the cloning paste/gel in the end. I changed the water out on 1/10 and its day 14. Did I pick too big of a piece?

im no expert but it does look like too big of a cutting, i would have used one of the tops attached to this branch. good to experiment tho, gl hope it works out

Not sure if its too thick. Ive done it a couple times. Be prepared to wait 2+ months for any roots. Its very slow and doesn’t always work.
