first time grower. I started them indoors about 2 weeks ago. I got excited when they emerged but i think they look weird. they both looksvery different from a regular seedlings i see on internet. Also the first ones cotyledons is as firm as its body. If anyone can enlighten me i'd be glad. Thanks in advance.

hey! looks normal to me if the helmet head was removed recently, mine spread out and looked like the rest of my sprouts in 2-3 days
Looks like one of the cotyledons broke on the first one, and the second seems to have 3 instead of the normal 2. But no worries, all perfectly normal. Cotyledons tend to look a little wonky on helmethead seedlings. Won’t affect their true leaves. Overall, seedlings spring up pretty quick, then seem to slow for a little while as they grow their initial root system. They’ll look better in another week 🙂
