Found a reduced flat iron steak for about $4. Was iffy at first but i couldnt pass it up. Was a little tough but it was delicious!

$4 is an easy gamble I’d take. Nice work!

I almost buy the flat irons exclusively. Some are great and some are tough. I found thin slices cut at a bias helps. They are just cheap good steaks that need a little love.

    Yours looks amazing.

Beautiful! I love going to the store and finding a new cut for so cheap I have to experiment with it. What was the cooking method?

I’ve had some good luck with flat irons, definitely a solid cheaper option.

Are you kidding? That looks crazy good! That’s it. Looking for small cheap steaks. What was your method?

In today’s market, that’s an actual steal. Looks great!

  9. I don’t think it could be improved. 10/10

Cut that against the grain and you’re golden

Hell yeah! Looks good! The Kroger near me sells these little $5-$7 sirloin pieces and I have no problem grilling up a bunch of them lol. Hell, I dare to say I’ve done better with some $5 steaks at home than some $50 steaks I’ve had in restaurants…

Nice job dude. That steak is probably really good when thinly sliced

    Great sear/crust, and great cook. For a $4 cut, that’s a perfect 10

Ay that’s impressive! Great job on that one!

Definitely not walmart steak, but ignore that, rarely to see such perfection.
