Made beef jerky yesterday. 7 hours at 170°F

    Recipe:

    3/4 cup soy sauce
    1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
    3/4 cup water
    1/4 of a red onion finely chopped
    2 large-ish cloves of garlic, sliced
    1/4 cup whole peppercorns coarse crushed
    1/3 cup of brown sugar
    Eye round sliced 1/4″ thick. Remove outer fat.

    Marinate 12 hours min.
    7 ish hours @ 165-170°F.

    I find the shabu shabu pack at Costco helpful for this. Looks good!

    This looks amazing. I just made a very similar marinade but added a half cup of Momofuko’s garlic chili crunch to it and it gave it like a sweet heat/asian style jerky. My only mistake was not making more!
