I wanted to share this meal my husband cooked last night. He loves making traditional Japanese dishes, and everything was delicious!🀀

Menu:

β€’ Teriyaki Buri (Yellowtail) with grilled leeks

β€’ Katsuo no Tataki (Seared Bonito) with ginger and garlic

β€’ Nagaimo (Mountain Yam) with a drop of soy sauce

β€’ Homemade pickles (Asa-zuke)

β€’ Miso soup and white rice

He even made the pickles from scratch! I’m so grateful for his support every day.☺️

    What greens are in the miso soup? And is the nagaimo grated? Or is that it in the middle cut into matchsticks?
