Shawerma Bite, which specializes in Mediterranean and Middle Eastern food, opened Jan. 2 at 4100 Worth Ave. in Columbus at Easton Town Center.
Housed in the space that previously was Dragon Donuts before it closed in August 2024, the restaurant offers customizable bowls or pita sandwiches starting with a base of rice or greens, and protein like chicken shawarma and falafel. Diners can add vegetables, dips like hummus and baba ghanoush and sauces.
The Easton location marks the restaurant’s fourth location after first opening near The Ohio State University at 12 E. 6th Ave. in 2020. Other locations include 5453 Bethel Sawmill Center, which opened in 2022, and a location in the Cincinnati suburb of Mason, which opened last June.
Hours for the new location are 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday, from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and noon to 9 p.m. Sundays.
